Job summary

Elmer’s Manufacturing Ltd. in Manitoba near Altona is seeking a student to join our Supply Chain team, gaining hands-on experience in inventory management, procurement, and order fulfillment.

You will analyze data in Excel, support reporting, and collaborate with logistics, production, and sales to improve efficiency. Applicants pursuing a diploma/degree in SCM, business, or logistics will fit, with strong communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support daily Supply Chain operations including inventory management, procurement, and order fulfillment.

In This Role You Will

• Support Supply Chain Operations: Assist in daily operations including inventory management, procurement, and order fulfillment processes.
• Data Analysis: Analyze and interpret supply chain data to help identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
• Reporting: Assist in preparing reports and presentations on supply chain metrics and performance.
• Process Improvement: Participate in projects aimed at enhancing efficiency and effectiveness within the supply chain.
• Coordination: Work with various departments such as logistics, production, and sales to ensure smooth operations and communication.
• Documentation: Help maintain accurate records and documentation related to supply chain activities.
• Customer Service: Assist with handling inquiries and resolving issues related to supply chain operations.
• Education: Currently pursuing a diploma/degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Skills: Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with team members, stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Detail-Oriented: High attention to detail and accuracy in handling data and documentation.
