Job summary

Elmer’s Manufacturing Ltd. is seeking a Co-op/Student - Field Support Technician in Altona, MB for a 4- or 8-month term. The role mixes field work with shop time, featuring a three-week field tour and possible Western Canada travel.

You will address customer equipment issues, inspect R&D carts, support the Sales Demo Program, assist dealer technician training, and capture customer feedback. A engineering degree/diploma (in progress ok) is required and travel ability is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Diploma in Engineering or Engineering Tech (completed or in progress).
• Willingness to travel up to 3 weeks at a time.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Address issues with customer equipment in the field.
• Inspect/maintain R&D carts running in the field.
• Support the Sales Demo Program (as needed).
• Assist with Dealer Technician Training.
• Gather & document customer feedback.
