Baker Tilly Victoria Ltd. is seeking a Co-Op Staff Accountant to join our team for January 2027–April 2027. You will prepare T1, T3, T4/T5 and T2 returns, assist with compilation engagements, and handle filing tasks as part of a collaborative, team-based environment.

This role offers hands-on tax experience in a friendly office setting with Uptown, Westshore and Sidney locations. The ideal candidate is a second or third‑year business student with strong organization, communication, and

Qualifications

Second or third-year business student interested in exploring a future career in public practice accounting.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Great organization and time management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Word.
Experience with Adobe Acrobat Professional.
Ability to excel in a high-pressure working environment.
Experience or desire to work in a team-based environment.

Responsibilities

Preparing T1 (personal income tax) returns, T3 (trust) returns, T4/T5 summaries and slips, T2 (corporate) returns.
Preparing compilation engagements.
Printing and electronic filing of various tax returns.
Other ad-hoc and administrative duties as required.
