Job summary

Nova Scotia Power in Halifax, Nova Scotia, is seeking a Human Capital Management Co-op for Winter 2027. You will gain hands-on experience supporting the final phase of a cloud-based HCM and Payroll system implementation, working with HR, Payroll, Change Management and Project Delivery teams.

You’ll participate in training, change management activities, and project coordination, while assisting with documentation, communications, and user support to ensure a smooth employee experience during this

Qualifications

• Enrolled in second or third year of bachelor’s program and participating in a co‑op
• Experience using Microsoft Office 365 tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

Responsibilities

• Assist with organizing project plans, deadlines, and deliverables
• Support team meetings, workshops, and trainings
• Help create training materials and change management resources
• Support reporting, issue tracking, and status updates
• Create and maintain project documentation and trackers
• Respond to basic user inquiries and escalate complex issues
• Support go-live hypercare and stabilization efforts
• Contribute to process improvements and documentation updates
