Nova Scotia Power is seeking an Electrical Engineering co-op for the Winter 2027 term (January–April 2027) in Sackville or Truro, NS. You will support operation and design of the distribution network and work with engineers and technical staff to gain hands-on experience in asset management and system planning.

The role emphasizes problem-solving, learning from professionals, and contributing to meaningful projects that enhance reliability and customer service.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering (second to fourth year preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with technical information.

Responsibilities

• Support operation and design of Nova Scotia Power's electrical distribution network.
• Gather and analyze field and historical asset data for engineering decisions.
• Assist with customer servicing reviews and technical assessments.
