Job summary

Workers’ Compensation Board - Alberta is seeking a temporary, full-time Co-op eBusiness Help Desk Analyst I in Edmonton. You will provide front-line telephone support for external users of WCB systems, troubleshoot e-business services, and promote online features during the busy annual return season.

The role targets students enrolled in business or information technology programs, with prior help desk experience considered an asset.

Qualifications

• Student currently enrolled in a business or information technology program.
• Experience in a help desk environment is an asset.
• Strong ability to interpret problems from both novice and experienced users.

Responsibilities

• Deliver responsive telephone support to external users.
• Provide end-user support for e-business systems (web and IVR).
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues using knowledgebase.
• Administer security – userID, password and access management.
• Educate and promote features of online services.
• Document and track customer inquiries.
• Answer general questions about a customer's WCB account.
