Job summary

The Workers Compensation Board of PEI is seeking a Programmer Analyst to support the WCB Website, E-Services, Intranet and legacy applications.

Under supervision, you will troubleshoot IT issues, deploy releases, manage Drupal content changes, and contribute to IT services team with coding, testing and configuration tasks. Candidates should have post-secondary IT degree and 1–3 years relevant experience, with strong HTML/SQL skills.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in IT/CS or related field.
• 1–3 years of IT experience.
• Experience providing IT support to clients (internal/external).
• Proficiency in PowerBuilder, .NET (C#/VB), Angular, Solr, Keycloak and OpenSSL.
• Solid SQL and relational database knowledge; HTML for web pages.
• Ability to learn quickly and resolve software issues; bilingual in French/English is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical troubleshooting for WCB Website/E-Services and internal legacy systems.
• Provide backup support for E-Services Coordinator for web apps, intranet, and liaison with external providers.
• Update website content with HTML formatting.
• Deploy releases to production and document build processes.
• Work with Drupal CMS to deploy technical changes.
• Diagnose, test, and resolve technical problems.
• Contribute to IT Services team development and perform other duties as required.
