MNP is seeking a Co-op Accountant in Assurance & Accounting to join our on-site team in Ontario. You will support compilations, reviews, audits, bookkeeping and tax work while gaining exposure to IFRS, GAAP and ASPE frameworks.

This role emphasizes client service, teamwork and professional development. You will help set up client files, manage multiple engagements and contribute to financial statements and reports, while developing skills across assurance disciplines within a leading Canadian

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce or business administration (accounting or finance major preferred) and CPA PEP prerequisites underway.

Responsabilidades

• Develop technical skills in compilations, reviews, audits, bookkeeping and tax.
• Apply knowledge of IFRS, GAAP and ASPE.
• Set up files for new clients and manage multiple files.
• Perform accounts receivable/payable, asset acquisitions and payroll walkthroughs.
• Prepare balance sheets, P&L statements and other reports.
• Review and correct discrepancies in financial entries and reports.
• Establish charts of accounts and posting entries.
• Prepare client correspondence, reports and presentations.
