About the Role

As a CNC Machinist in our Machine Shop team, you will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC machines to produce precision components that meet strict quality standards. This role requires strong attention to detail, technical expertise, and a commitment to safety and efficiency. We have openings across several shifts, so whatever your preference please feel free to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program and operate CNC machines using Mazatrol controls
  • Meet allocated machine shop production plans and schedules
  • Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings, including GD&T
  • Inspect and measure components to precision tolerances
  • Minimise rework and waste while maintaining high quality standards
  • Comply with OH&S requirements and participate in 5S audits
Essential Qualifications & Experience
  • Australian trade certificate in Fitting and Machining/Toolmaking (or equivalent)
  • Experience operating and programming CNC Mills and Lathes
  • Proficiency with Mazak machines and Mazatrol programming
  • Strong metrology skills and ability to achieve precision tolerances
  • Ability to work across day, afternoon, or night shifts
Preferred Skills
  • CAM programming experience
  • CAD skills (SolidWorks or NX)
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
