A regional health authority in Kelowna is seeking a permanent part-time Clinical Psychologist to support its Primary Care Network. This role involves providing psychological services, including assessment and therapy for clients with complex concerns. Interior Health is seeking a permanent part time (0.50 FTE) Clinical Psychologist to support our Primary Care Network (PCN) clients in Kelowna, B.C.
This role offers the Clinical Psychologist an opportunity of working autonomously and independently while practicing assessment and psychotherapy with a population that tends to be diverse and more complex.
We are seeking a motivated team player who brings strong psychological assessment skills including cognitive, intellectual, memory, DSM diagnosis, treatment planning. The successful candidate will demonstrate significant capability in the provision of individual and group evidence based psychological therapies and behavioural consultation, with clients presenting complex psychiatric/substance misuse concerns.
The Clinical Psychologist is responsible for providing psychological services, including assessment, individual and group therapy, treatment planning and behaviour management interventions for the assigned clinical practice area(s). In addition to direct service provision, the Clinical Psychologist contributes to ongoing quality improvement, program development, evaluation, and research. The position supports a multidisciplinary and collaborative approach to service delivery within the continuum of Allied Health services.
Shift types for this position are days and shift times are from 08:00 to 16:00, 08:00 to 12:00 hours. Days of work are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday.

Education, Training and Experience:
