Job summary

The Neurodevelopmental and Psychological Services Centre (NPSCSPN) in Ottawa is seeking a Practice Manager to support both administrative and clinical teams. This role serves as the primary contact for current and prospective patients, enabling clinicians to focus on delivering care.

You will collaborate with Clinic Co-Directors to coordinate services, ensure privacy compliance, and manage intake, calendars, and communications.

Qualifications

Must be bilingual in English and French.
Experience in healthcare administration or clinic/office admin preferred.
Familiarity with PHIPA/PIPEDA and confidentiality policies.
Strong written and verbal communication in both languages.

Responsibilities

Coordinate intake appointments and clinicians’ calendars.
Communicate with patients and professionals via email and phone in a compassionate, professional manner.
Explain services offered and processes clearly.
Upload and manage documents using secure platforms.
Send and track psychological questionnaires online.
Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on overdue balances (training provided).
Attend monthly remote team meetings.
Maintain PHIPA/PIPEDA compliance and confidentiality policies.
