Job summary

MNP in Ottawa, Canada seeks a Bilingual Coordinator for the Resource Management team to align staff deployment with project needs and capacity, ensuring efficient and profitable service delivery.

You will work with engagement managers, practice leaders, and Human Capital to maintain real-time staffing data, forecast demand, and manage timekeeping and utilization while maintaining compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
• 2-3 years of relevant work experience is an asset.
• Experience in a professional services or project-based environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate assignment of staff to client engagements based on availability, billable targets, skill sets, and project requirements.
• Maintain real-time staffing visibility and future resource needs.
• Maintain resource data in PSA or project management systems.
• Update and manage skills inventories and certifications.
• Serve as the staffing contact for engagement managers and partners.
• Flag conflicts and underutilization; propose staffing solutions.
• Forecast demand and capacity across practices.
• Monitor staff utilization and billing to inform staffing decisions.
• Ensure timekeeping aligns with firm standards.
• Travel flexibility as needed.
