Job summary

RBC in Saanich is seeking a client-focused Advisor to engage clients in-branch and in the community, uncovering banking needs and driving referrals. You will guide clients through everyday banking, credit, and investment needs, while leveraging digital tools to create memorable experiences.

You will collaborate with RBC partners to achieve client goals, demonstrate solutions, and contribute to satisfaction and loyalty in a flexible, full-time role at a major Canadian bank.

Qualifications

• Mutual Funds accreditation (i.e., Investment Funds in Canada or the Canadian Securities Course)
• Demonstrated passion for client-first service in a target-driven sales environment
• Strong problem-solving and people skills to build relationships
• Flexibility, eagerness to learn, strong ethics and drive for success
• Digital literacy across devices (phones, tablets, laptops)
• Availability to work all open business hours

Responsibilities

• Proactively engage with clients in the branch and community to uncover banking needs and sales opportunities
• Demonstrate and educate clients on digital banking, delivering memorable experiences
• Assist with a full range of financial transactions in response to client inquiries
• Listen actively to understand individual client needs and facilitate referrals to specialists
• Resolve and prevent client banking problems, maintaining relationships with partners for opportunities
