The City of White Rock is seeking a Clerk-Typist II to join the Finance Department. You will handle telephone, email and in-person inquiries, provide information on property taxes, utilities, licensing, and parking, and process payments with attention to accuracy and timeliness.
The ideal candidate has strong organizational and communication skills, experience in reception and clerical work, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

The Finance Department seeks an individual with outstanding customer service, interpersonal and organizational skills to join their team. Reporting to the Revenue Services Supervisor, you will handle a variety of telephone, email and in-person inquiries and provide factual information regarding property taxes, utilities, business and dog licensing, parking tickets and decals, and other municipal services. Your role will include delivering customer service in a professional and courteous manner and handling customer inquiries and complaints with sound judgement to help resolve issues and minimize escalation. Other duties include processing payments, maintaining departmental records, files and accounts, supporting departmental administrative functions, and performing a variety of routine clerical tasks. The successful candidate is a self-starter, highly organized, and possesses strong communication and customer service skills.
