Job summary

Dexterra Group is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor to oversee cleaning and related services for an assigned area. The role reports to the Manager and ensures operations stay within budget while maintaining quality standards.

The position requires supervising staff, coordinating daily tasks, and maintaining health and safety procedures. Candidates should have 2+ years in cleaning supervision, be able to work flexible hours including weekends, and pass a criminal background check.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' cleaning and supervisory experience in a large facility.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
• Experience working in a unionized environment and applying Collective Agreement guidelines.
• Flexible start/end times; weekend and statutory holiday work required.
• A clear criminal background check is required.

Responsibilities

• Assists with controlling budgeted hours for the assigned location.
• Assigns daily tasks and responsibilities to employees.
• Inspects the work on an ongoing basis to ensure performance meets standards.
• Assists with site training of new cleaning personnel.
• Trains and implements Health & Safety procedures and ensures PPE is available and properly utilized.
• Maintains time keeping records for cleaning personnel.
• Responds to customer requests and ensures follow-up.
• Responsible for inventory control and the daily Preventative Maintenance Program.

As aCleaning Supervisor, reporting to the Manager, you will supervisethe cleaning and services of an assigned area within the budget required to maintain company and customer quality standards.

Your work will include:
