Job summary

Dexterra Group in Maple Ridge is seeking an evening Cleaner/Porter to maintain sanitary facilities and secure equipment. You will work on the Valley Fair Mall site with shifts from 10:00-2:00 or 3:00-11:00, 2+ days weekly plus coverage as needed.

The role requires a positive attitude, cleaning experience, and ability to lift up to 25 lbs. Training and safety guidelines are provided, and you will interact with supervisors, clients, and staff to ensure a clean, safe environment.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in cleaning.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and WHMIS.
• A clear criminal background check is required for this role.
• Able to communicate with supervisor, client and general public.

• Collecting and transporting garbage
• Sweeping and mopping the floor and vacuuming the carpets
• High dusting the common area

• Operating the auto scrubber

As an evening Cleaner/Porter, reporting to the Account Manager, you will ensure a sanitary environment, securing and maintaining tools/equipment used to perform the day to day work and performing other duties as assigned or requested. This position is at the Valley Fair Mall in Maple Ridge. The working hours are either 10:00 to 2:00pm or 3:00 PM until 11:00 PM. Currently looking for 2+ days each week plus additional days of coverage.
