Dexterra is seeking a Cleaner/Porter in Canada, Division No. 11, St. Albert to maintain cleanliness in various environments. The role involves performing daily cleaning tasks, including floor maintenance and garbage collection, and requires clear communication skills.

Qualifications

• At least one (1) year experience in cleaning.
• Able to communicate with supervisor, Client and general public.
• A clear criminal background check is required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a sanitary environment through cleaning common areas and washrooms.
• Collect and transport garbage.
• Sweep and mop floors as well as vacuum carpets.
• High dust common areas and clean windows.
• Operate the auto scrubber and carpet extractor.
• Perform snow removal and ice melt application.

As an eveningCleaner/Porter, reporting to the Account Manager, you will ensure a sanitary environment, securing and maintaining tools/equipment used to perform the day to day work and performing other duties as assigned or requested. This position is at the Valley Fair Mall in Maple Ridge.

The working hours are 3:00 PM until 11:00 PM, with a schedule of Thursday through Monday.

Your work will include:

• Common area cleaning and washrooms
• Collecting and transporting garbage
• Sweeping and mopping the floor and vacuuming the carpets
• High dusting the common area
• Cleaning windows
• Operating the auto scrubber
• Operating the carpet extractor
• Snow removal and ice melt application
