Job summary

Realstar is seeking a full-time Cleaner to work at one of its apartment buildings in Canada. The role requires a schedule of 4 days per week with every other weekend.

The base salary is $38,000 per year, with opportunities for recognition awards and career development. Responsibilities include cleaning common areas, vacant suites, and exterior areas; reporting safety or curb appeal issues to the Resident Manager; and collaborating with the team.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years related experience
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to lift and push heavy objects

Responsibilities

• General cleaning of common areas (lobbies, elevator, stairwells, windows) and amenity spaces (laundry rooms, social rooms)
• Thorough cleaning of vacant suites including appliances, walls, kitchen, washrooms, balconies
• Exterior cleaning duties including garages, service rooms, foyers, patios and rooftops
• Report serious deficiencies about curb appeal, safety or hazards to Resident Manager
• Work a flexible schedule including weekends and as part of a team
• Perform other duties as assigned

We are currently seeking a Cleaner to work at one of our apartment buildings. This position is full-time and would require you to work some weekends. A typical schedule would be to work 4 days per week and every other weekend. This offer is for an existing vacant position within the organization.

Key Responsibilities of Building Cleaner

• General cleaning of the common areas of the building (Lobbies, elevator, stairwells, windows) and amenity areas (laundry rooms, social rooms) including sweeping, vacuuming & mopping
• Thorough cleaning of vacant suites including cleaning appliances, walls, windows, kitchen, washrooms, balconies
• Exterior cleaning duties including general maintenance of underground garage and parking levels, service rooms, foyers, patios and rooftops (Varies by property) and picking up loose garbage/debris around the property
• Report any serious deficiency about curb appeal or safety or hazard to Resident Manager
• Must be able to work flexible schedule, including weekends
• Must be able to work as part of a team and take direction
• Perform other duties as assigned
