Realstar is seeking a Building Cleaner in St. Catharines, Ontario. This full-time role requires weekend work and a typical schedule of four days per week with alternating weekends.

You will clean common and amenity areas, and thoroughly clean vacant suites in our apartment buildings. The position offers a base salary of 40,000 CAD per annum, with recognition awards, a performance bonus, and ongoing training opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years related experience.
• Customer service skills.
• A pleasant demeanour.
• Must be able to lift and push heavy objects (furniture, garbage bins, appliances, etc)
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• General cleaning of common areas (lobbies, elevator, stairwells, windows) and amenity areas (laundry, social rooms).
• Thorough cleaning of vacant suites including appliances, walls, windows, kitchen, washrooms, balconies.
• Exterior cleaning duties including maintenance of underground garage, parking levels, service rooms, foyers, patios and rooftops; pick up debris.
• Report serious deficiencies about curb appeal, safety or hazards to Resident Manager.
• Work flexible schedule, including weekends; be part of a team and take direction.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We are currently seeking a Cleaner to work at one of our apartment buildings. This position is full-time and would require you to work some weekends. A typical schedule would be to work 4 days per week and every other weekend. This offer is for an existing vacant position within the organization.

Key Responsibilities of Building Cleaner

• General cleaning of the common areas of the building (Lobbies, elevator, stairwells, windows) and amenity areas (laundry rooms, social rooms) including sweeping, vacuuming & mopping
• Thorough cleaning of vacant suites including cleaning appliances, walls, windows, kitchen, washrooms, balconies
• Exterior cleaning duties including general maintenance of underground garage and parking levels, service rooms, foyers, patios and rooftops (Varies by property) and picking up loose garbage/debris around the property
• Report any serious deficiency about curb appeal or safety or hazard to Resident Manager
• Must be able to work flexible schedule, including weekends
• Must be able to work as part of a team and take direction
• Perform other duties as assigned
