AIM Recycling, a division of American Iron & Metal (AIM), is seeking a Class 1 Truck Driver for our Sherbrooke location. The company is a Canadian family-owned leader in metal recycling with more than 4,000 employees and 135 facilities worldwide.

The role involves transporting metals between customer sites and AIM locations, performing pre-trip inspections, and assisting with loading/unloading. A permanent full-time day shift is offered with competitive pay, benefits, RRSP, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Class 1 driver's licence with FM endorsement.
• Have a good driving record.
• Have at least 1 year of experience as a Class 1 truck driver.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to occupational health and safety.
• Be in good physical condition.
• Be reliable, dependable, and punctual.
• Demonstrate proper care and respect for equipment and tools.

Responsabilités

• Transport metals from various customer locations to AIM facilities and between AIM sites.
• Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections before hitting the road.
• Assist with loading and unloading trailers.
• Ensure that all safety standards and regulations established by law and the employer are followed at all times, without exception.
• Operate different types of heavy vehicles as required.

Job Description
