American Iron and Metal is seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver with B Train experience based out of Moncton. The role involves delivering to AIM’s commercial clients and handling loads on the road, with a Monday–Friday schedule.

Candidates should possess a Class 1 license, a good driving record, and at least two years of trucking experience. Training for Self Loader and B Trains will be provided to the right applicant.

Qualifications

• Class 1 license is required.
• Good driving abstract is required.
• Minimum two years of experience in trucking or related roles.

Responsabilités

• Pick up and/or deliver to AIM’s commercial clients or another AIM site.
• Willing to be on the road Monday-Friday (Bunk Truck).
• Secure the loads and tarp when necessary.
• Keep the equipment clean and in good working condition.
• Perform a daily inspection and keep reports up-to-date.
• Work in a safe manner and perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Job Description

American Iron and Metal is searchingfor an experienced Class 1 Driver with B Train experience based out of Moncton. Experience in any machinery is an asset.

• Pick up and/or deliver to AIM’s commercial clients or another AIM site;
• Willing to be on the road Monday-Friday (Bunk Truck)
• Secure the loads;
• Tarp the load, if necessary;
• Keep the equipment clean and in good working condition;
• Perform a daily inspection;
• Keep reports up-to-date;
• Always work in a safe manner.
• Other labourous and operating duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
• Self Loader experience considered an asset
• Must be willing to be trained in Self Loader if not already
• Must be willing to be trained with B trains if not already

Qualifications

• Class 1 license, required;
• Good drivers abstract;
• Minimum two (2) years experience

Aptitudes Requested:

• Follow all laws and regulations, in regards to driving truck;
• Responsible, careful and alert at all times;
• Willing and able to perform labour intensive tasks;
