Job summary

American Iron & Metal (AIM) is seeking a Class 3 truck driver for its Saint-Augustin, QC site. The role involves mechanically collecting metals and transporting them to the AIM site, with emphasis on safety and efficiency.

You will inspect the truck daily, follow schedules, and perform pickups/deliveries of metals while maintaining documentation and basic maintenance. A strong safety mindset and reliable performance are essential.

Qualifications

• Class 3 FM license with a good driving record.
• At least 2 years of driving experience.
• Health and safety oriented.
• Excellent physical condition.
• Good customer service skills.
• Reliable, diligent, punctual.
• Respect for equipment and tools.
• Experience operating a Roll-Off truck is a major asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily truck inspections.
• Follow the schedule and route provided by the supervisor.
• Carry out pickup and delivery of dry materials and metals per safety standards.
• Complete required transport documentation.
• Perform basic truck maintenance.
• Drive the vehicle safely and efficiently.

Job Description

AIM is currently looking for a Class 3 truck driver for its Saint-Augustin, Quebec site. The main task of the driver is to mechanically collect metals and transport them to the AIM site.

What you will be responsible for:

• Performing the daily inspection of the truck
• Following the schedule and route provided by the supervisor
• Carrying out the pickup and delivery of dry materials, ferrous and non-ferrous metals according to applicable safety standards
• Completingthe required documentation for the transport to be performed
• Performing basic maintenance on the truck
• Drivingthe vehicle safely and efficiently

Qualifications
