Job summary

American Iron & Metal is seeking an experienced Self Loader / Operator with a Class 1 license for in Moncton. The role includes loading/unloading for AIM’s clients, securing loads, tarp when needed, and performing daily inspections.

Qualifications

• Class 1 license, required.
• Good drivers abstract.
• Minimum two years experience.
• Willing to be trained in Self Loader.
• Self Loader experience considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and/or deliver to AIM’s commercial clients or another AIM site.
• Secure the loads.
• Tarps the load, if necessary.
• Keep the equipment clean and in good working condition.
• Perform a daily inspection.
• Keep reports up-to-date.
• Always work in a safe manner.
• Other labourous and operating duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Job Description

American Iron and Metal is searchingfor experienced Self Loader / Operator with a Class 1 License for more than 2 years based out of Moncton.Experience in any machinery is an asset.

• Pick up and/or deliver to AIM’s commercial clients or another AIM site;
• Secure the loads;
• Tarp the load, if necessary;
• Keep the equipment clean and in good working condition;
• Perform a daily inspection;
• Keep reports up-to-date;
• Always work in a safe manner.
• Other labourous and operating duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

• Must be willing to be trained in Self Loader if not already

Aptitudes Requested:

• Follow all laws and regulations, in regards to driving truck;
• Responsible, careful and alert at all times;
• Willing and able to perform labour intensive tasks;
