AIM Recycling, a division of American Iron & Metal (AIM), is a Canadian family‑owned company and global leader in metal recycling with Sherbrooke as a key site. We are seeking a dedicated Class 1 Truck Driver to join the team and help transport metals between customer locations and AIM facilities.

Ideal candidates will hold a valid Class 1 licence with FM endorsement, have at least 2 years of Class 1 experience, maintain a strong safety record, and be reliable and physically fit to work in a

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Class 1 driver's licence with FM endorsement.
• 2+ years of Class 1 truck driving experience.
• Strong safety mindset.
• Good physical condition.

Responsabilités

• Transport metals between customer sites and AIM facilities.
• Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections.
• Assist with loading and unloading trailers.
• Maintain safety standards at all times, without exception.
• Operate different types of heavy vehicles as required.

Job Description

Our team is currently looking for a Class 1 Truck Driver to join our team at our Sherbrooke location. We are looking for a candidate who can easily adapt to change and is ready to take on new challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport metals from various customer locations to AIM facilities and between AIM sites;
• Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections before hitting the road;
• Assist with loading and unloading trailers;
• Ensure that all safety standards and regulations established by law and the employer are followed at all times, without exception;
• Operate different types of heavy vehicles as required;

Qualifications

To join our team

• Hold a valid Class 1 driver's licence with FM endorsement;
• Have a good driving record;
• Have at least 2 years of experience as a Class 1 truck driver;
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to occupational health and safety;
• Be in good physical condition;
• Be reliable, dependable, and punctual;
• Demonstrate proper care and respect for equipment and tools.
