Job summary

American Iron & Metal (AIM) is seeking a Class 3 truck driver for our Saint-Augustin, QC site. The role involves mechanically collecting metals and transporting them to AIM facilities, with daily safety checks and route adherence.

You will perform routine inspections, manage deliveries, and complete transport paperwork. We value reliability, punctuality, and a strong safety mindset in a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 3 FM driver’s license with a good driving record.
• At least 2 years of driving experience, health and safety‑minded.
• Excellent physical condition and reliable, punctual.
• Strong customer service and respect for equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily truck inspections and follow the supervisor’s route.
• Pickup and deliver dry materials, ferrous and non‑ferrous metals per safety rules.
• Complete required transport documentation.
• Perform basic truck maintenance and drive safely and efficiently.

Job Description

AIM is currently looking for a Class 3 truck driver for its Saint‑Augustin, Quebec site. The main task of the driver is to mechanically collect metals and transport them to the AIM site.

What you will be responsible for:

• Performing the daily inspection of the truck
• Following the schedule and route provided by the supervisor
• Carrying out the pickup and delivery of dry materials, ferrous and non‑ferrous metals according to applicable safety standards
• Completingthe required documentation for the transport to be performed
• Performing basic maintenance on the truck
• Drivingthe vehicle safely and efficiently

Qualifications
