Job summary

Canada Packers is seeking a dedicated Feed Truck Driver to ensure timely delivery of feed products to our customers. You will operate a truck independently, upholding safety, accuracy, and courteous service in line with our high standards.

Based at Souris Feed Mill, this full-time role offers rotating shifts, weekends and holidays, and a competitive hourly wage up to $29.00, with benefits and a path to ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in Canada.
• Valid Class 1 Driver’s License with a favorable Driver’s Abstract.
• 1 year behind the wheel with a Class 1 license; 3–5 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing quality customer service.
• Delivering loads of feed as assigned by the dispatcher.
• Performing daily pre-trip and weekly truck/trailer inspections.
• Reporting and discussing truck/trailer maintenance concerns with the supervisor.
• Maintaining the logbook as required.
• Keeping the tractor/trailer unit clean and well organized, both inside and out, regardless of weather conditions and the demand for on-time feed delivery.
• Completing all paperwork according to business requirements.
• Working flexible hours, including some weekends and holidays.
• Operating in extreme temperatures ranging from +40 to -40 degrees Celsius.

Location: Souris Feed Mill
Employment Type: Full-time (40 hours/week)
Salary: Opportunity to earn up to $29.00 per hour.
Schedule: Rotating shifts that include weekends, and holidays.

Are you an experienced driver who values safety, reliability, and great service? As a Feed Truck Driver at Canada Packers, you’ll be responsible for the efficient delivery of feed products while providing courteous, quality-conscious customer service, in line with our company’s high standards.

This is a hands-on, independent role where you’ll help ensure our animals receive the nutrition they need, on time and with care. If you enjoy being on the road and want to be part of a team that supports sustainable agriculture, this could be the perfect fit for you.

Skills & Experience:

• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada at the time of application. Proof of eligibility may be requested during the recruitment process.
• Valid Class 1 Driver’s License with a favorable Driver’s Abstract.
• Got experience? We’re looking for drivers with at least 1 year behind the wheel with a Class 1 license, and if you’ve got 3–5 years of truck/trailer experience, even better!.
• Strong communication skills (oral and written).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
