Job summary

Bison Transport Inc. is hiring a City Dispatcher in Winnipeg to oversee day-to-day activities in the assigned region. You will dispatch information, manage driver communications via satellite/phone, and document issues for resolution. Strong organization, communication, and timeliness are essential.

This role runs Monday to Friday, 09:00–18:00, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and customer service within the North American transport network.

Qualifications

• Dispatch experience is a strong asset.
• Educational background in Supply Chain Management or related area.
• Customer service experience in a similar environment is required.
• Well organized with excellent communication and timeliness.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch information for drivers to meet customer requirements.
• Manage driver communications via satellite and telephone in assigned queues.
• Identify, communicate and document issues for action and record keeping.
• Resolve day-to-day driver and company issues promptly.
