Job summary

BrightPath Kids in Calgary, AB is seeking a dedicated Bus Driver to transport children to and from our centres. This full-time role focuses on safety, punctuality, and a positive learning environment.

You will perform pre- and post-route safety checks, assist students as needed, and uphold all traffic laws. Relevant CPR/First Aid certification and a Class 4 license with a clean abstract are preferred; training provided for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience driving a school bus preferred (training provided)
• CPR/First Aid Certification
• Experience working with children is an asset
• Class 4 Drivers license with a clear drivers abstract, S Endorsement preferred
• Must meet province requirements for childcare employment

Responsibilities

• Transporting children to and from school in the mornings and afternoons.
• Obeying all traffic laws.
• Performing safety inspections of the bus before and after each route.
• Ensuring safety of all children.
• Assisting students with getting on and off the bus if required.
• Other duties as assigned.

What will you be doing?

As a Bus Driver, you will transport children in our care to and from our centres. Responsibilities include:

• Transporting children to and from school in the mornings and afternoons.
• Obeying all traffic laws.
• Performing safety inspections of the bus before and after each route.

• Assisting students with getting on and off the bus if required.
