Job summary

BrightPath Kids in Edmonton, AB is seeking a Full-Time Bus Driver to transport children to and from our centers, with no evenings or weekends.

You will perform safety inspections, assist students boarding, and ensure compliance with traffic laws. Requirements include 1+ year of school bus driving (training provided), CPR/First Aid certification, Class 4 license with clean abstract; childcare employment requirements must be met.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience driving a school bus preferred (training provided for the right candidate).
• CPR/First Aid Certification.
• Experience working with children is an asset.
• Class 4 Drivers license with a clear drivers abstract, S Endorsement preferred.
• Must meet province requirements for childcare employment.

Responsibilities

• Transport children to and from school in the mornings and afternoons.
• Obeying all traffic laws and safety inspections of the bus before and after each route.
• Ensuring safety of all children and assisting students getting on and off the bus.

What will you be doing?

As a Bus Driver, you will transport children in our care to and from our centres. Responsibilities include:

• Transporting children to and from school in the mornings and afternoons.
• Obeying all traffic laws.
• Performing safety inspections of the bus before and after each route.
• Ensuring safety of all children.
• Assisting students with getting on and off the bus if required.
• Other duties as assigned.
