Job summary

BrightPath Kids in Canada is seeking a Bus Driver to transport children to and from centres, ensuring safety and comfort throughout the journey.

The role requires a Class 4 license with a clean abstract, CPR/First Aid certification, and a minimum of driving experience. Training is provided where needed, and the position features full-time hours with no evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience driving a school bus is preferred and training is provided.
• CPR/First Aid Certification is required.
• Experience working with children is an asset.
• Class 4 Driver's license with a clean abstract; S Endorsement preferred.
• Must meet province childcare employment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Transport children to and from school each day, safely.
• Perform pre- and post-trip bus safety inspections.
• Assist students getting on and off the bus if needed.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.
• Maintain a welcoming, safe environment on board.

Pay Range: $19.25 per hour

Additional information: Willalso need to have a minimum of 3 years driving children in a bus and 6 years with continuous insurance

What will you be doing?

As a Bus Driver, you will transport children in our care to and from our centres. Responsibilities include:

• Transporting children to and from school in the mornings and afternoons.
• Obeying all traffic laws.
• Performing safety inspections of the bus before and after each route.
• Ensuring safety of all children.
• Assisting students with getting on and off the bus if required.
• Other duties as assigned.
