Job summary

BrightPath Kids in Calgary is seeking a dedicated Bus Driver to transport children to and from our centres. You will follow school routes, ensure student safety, and maintain vehicle pre/post-trip inspections.

The role requires a Class 4 license, CPR/First Aid certification, and a positive, patient approach with children. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for growth within our Busy Bees community.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience driving a school bus or similar vehicle.
• CPR/First Aid Certification required.
• Experience working with children is preferred.
• Class 4 Drivers license with a clear driving record; S Endorsement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport children to and from school and centres each day.
• Obey all traffic laws and drive in a safe, responsible manner.
• Perform pre- and post-trip safety inspections of the bus.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children on board.
• Assist students getting on and off the bus when needed.
• Other duties as assigned by the centre.

Pay Range: $16.50 - $18.50 per hour

Job Type: Full-Time

What will you be doing?

As a Bus Driver, you will transport children in our care to and from our centres. Responsibilities include:

• Transporting children to and from school in the mornings and afternoons.
• Obeying all traffic laws.
• Performing safety inspections of the bus before and after each route.
• Ensuring safety of all children.
• Assisting students with getting on and off the bus if required.
• Other duties as assigned.
