Job summary

BrightPath Kids is seeking an Early Childhood Educator to develop and implement a BrightPath-aligned program that promotes children's growth. You will maintain a safe environment and partner with families to monitor progress.

Qualifications include ECE Level 3 or B.Ed./Equivalent, First Aid/CPR, and provincial childcare eligibility. This full-time role offers comprehensive benefits and a strong team setting in Chestermere, AB.

Qualifications

• Early Childhood Education certification or equivalent.
• Must meet province childcare employment requirements.
• Current Standard First Aid and infant CPR.
• Current immunization and health assessment per local health requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a program aligned with BrightPath’s curriculum to support children's development.
• Maintain a safe and healthy classroom environment.
• Assess children's abilities, interests and needs; discuss progress with parents and staff.
• Foster collaborative relationships with coworkers, management and families.
• Attend staff meetings and professional development as needed.
• Keep classroom materials clean and organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What will you be doing?

• Developing and implementing a program in line with BrightPath’s curriculum that supports the development of children.
• Maintaining an environment that protects the well-being of children.
• Assessing the abilities, interests, and needs of children and discuss progress with parents and other staff.
• Establishing collaborative relationships with co-workers, management, and families.
• Attending staff meetings and professional development opportunities as necessary.
• Working to maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials.
• Other duties as assigned.
