Job summary

BrightPath Kids is hiring a Floor Supervisor - Early Childhood Educator Level 3 to join our team at the West Henday center in Alberta. You will work alongside teachers and administration to keep the centre running smoothly and professionally, with an emphasis on safety and quality care.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $20.50, full-time hours, and benefits including health, dental, vision and life insurance, plus a 40% childcare discount for eligible staff and RRSP retirement plan.

Qualifications

• Early Childhood Education, (CDW OR CDS) - Level 3 certificate
• 1 year experience working in the child care field
• Must meet province requirements for childcare employment
• Up to date immunization and Health Assessment as per the local Ministry of Health Requirements
• CPR/First Aid Certificate

Responsibilities

• Ensuring accurate classroom reports.
• Assisting staff with transitioning of children around the centre.
• Supporting educators in programming as needed.
• Ensuring the physical environment is monitored and maintained.
• Helping with the orientation of new children and families into the centre.
• Other duties as assigned.

What will you be doing?
As a Floor Supervisor - Early Childhood Educator Level 3, you will work side-by-side with teachers and administration to ensure our centre runs efficiently and professionally. Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring accurate classroom reports.
• Assisting staff with transitioning of children around the centre.
• Supporting educators in programming as needed.
• Ensuring the physical environment is monitored and maintained.
