Job summary

BrightPath Kids Canada in Okotoks, AB is hiring for a 3-month temporary role with a salary range of 47,000–50,000 CAD. Qualifications include a B.Ed. in Early Childhood or Level 3 Certification, knowledge of licensing regulations, and CPR/First Aid.

Qualifications

• B.Ed. with a focus on Early Childhood or Early Childhood Educator Level 3 Certification.
• Demonstrated knowledge of licensing and accreditation regulations.
• Demonstrated knowledge of financial management.
• Must meet province requirements for childcare employment.
• Up to date immunization and Health Assessment as per the local Ministry of Health Requirements.
• CPR/First Aid Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Managing the overall operation of the centre including recruitment and development of staff, management of policies and procedures, child safety, environmental health/hygiene, and province licensing.
• Ensuring that all staff members understand the objectives and expectations within each classroom.
• Managing administrative tasks such as payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and general communications.
• Understanding and enforcing all province regulations within the building.
• Implementing and ensuring completion of training for all staff members.
• Providing effective communication with parents/guardians about their child.
• All other duties as assigned.
