Job summary

BrightPath Kids in Burlington, ON is seeking a proactive Centre Administrator to support the Centre Director in day-to-day operations. You will help recruit and develop staff, manage policies, ensure safety and licensing compliance, and maintain clear communications with families.

The role requires an RECE in good standing, knowledge of regulations, CPR/First Aid, and immunization health assessments. Competitive benefits and opportunities for professional growth are offered.

Qualifications

• Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) in good standing with the Ontario College of ECE
• Knowledge of licensing and regulations for child care centers
• Vaccination health requirements and Health Assessment as per local regulations
• CPR/First Aid certification required

Responsibilities

• Assist Centre Director with overall operation of the centre, including staff recruitment and development, policies, child safety, hygiene and licensing
• Ensure staff understand objectives and expectations within each classroom
• Handle payroll, accounts payable/receivable and general communications
• Ensure compliance with provincial regulations within the building
• Implement and oversee training for all staff members
• Provide effective communication with families about their child
• Perform other duties as assigned

What will you be doing?

• Assisting Centre Director with managing the overall operation of the centre including recruitment and development of staff, management of policies and procedures, child safety, environmental health/hygiene, and province licensing.
• Ensuring that all staff members understand the objectives and expectations within each classroom.
• Managing administrative tasks such as processing payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general communications.
• Understanding and enforcing all province regulations within the building.
• Implementing and ensuring completion of training for all staff members.
• Providing effective communication with families about their child.
• All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• A Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE), must be a member in good standing with the Ontario College of ECE
