Job summary

Interfor seeks a Red Seal Millwright for Elk Lake, Ontario. You will perform preventive maintenance, repair and breakdown maintenance on sawmill, planer and kiln hot oil systems, and fabricate equipment from blueprints.

You must work safely, communicate effectively across teams, and be flexible to day, evening or night shifts with overtime opportunities in a steady team environment.

Responsibilities

• Solve problems and work as part of a team focused on machine reliability and breakdown prevention.
• Be available to work day, afternoon, graveyard or weekend shifts as required.

RED SEAL CERTIFIED MILLWRIGHT,Elk Lake, ON

Interfor is seeking reliable andcollaborative team players to join our Elk Lake, Ontario Division as a Red SealCertified Millwright.

The rate for this position is $44.16 per hour. Employees in this role have theopportunity to earn overtime pay depending on business needs and shiftschedules. Historically, trades employees at this location earned overtime payfor approximately 600 hours per year on average.

Sawmill Maintenance Shifts

Week 1 Days Friday 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday & Sunday6 a.m. to 6 p.m. (all hours on Sunday paid at OT)

Week 2 Mon to Thurs 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Nights Mon to Thurs 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Planer Maintenance Shifts

Week 1 Days Friday 6 a.m. to 4p.m. Saturday & Sunday 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. (all hours on Sunday paid at OT)

Week 2 Days Mon to Thurs 5 a.m. to5 p.m.

Nights Mon to Thurs 5 p.m. to 5 a.m.
