Qualifications

• 2 years in industrial maintenance plus 1 year of people supervision.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, fabrication/welding, PLC programming.
• Comfortable using CMMS software such as EAM, SAP, or MAXIMO.

Responsibilities

Maintenance Supervisor – Timmins, Ontario

What You'll Do

• Team Leadership & Supervision: supervise maintenance employees, contractors and sub-contractors, provide training, coaching and ongoing development to the maintenance team, foster a positive, collaborative work environment
• Maintenance Planning & Execution: plan, schedule and improve routine, preventative, and shutdown maintenance activities, maintenance systems and methodologies to ensure fast, reliable response to equipment issues, manage maintenance work systems and contracts in compliance with H&S requirements
• Continuous Improvement & Problem Solving: lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives, analyze equipment failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence, drive continuous improvements through effective leadership in maintenance meetings
• Safety, Compliance & Cost Control: ensure compliance with environmental, health and safety regulations and company values, support legislative and regulatory compliance across maintenance operations, manage departmental budgets and maintain strong cost control

What You Offer
