Millwright, Timmins, Ontario

Interfor is lookingfor skilled, safety‑focused, and motivated Industrial Millwrights to join ourteam in Timmins. In this role, you’ll play a key part in keeping our millrunning at peak performance by maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancingindustrial equipment across the operation.

This position offerscompetitive compensation at $42.81 per hour and a Monday to Thursday, nights,afternoons and days rotation with 10-hour shifts.

What You’ll Do
  • Repair equipment: conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic components, automated systems, etc. (including welding).
  • Identify the cause of machinery breakdowns or malfunctions and do the necessary repairs.
  • Install / optimize / adjust all equipment in the mill to maximize its efficiency.
  • Respond to emergencies when mechanical breakdowns affect operations.
  • Operate machining tools to manufacture parts.
What You Offer
  • Red Seal Millwright or Planer Technician certification required.
  • Strong safety background.
  • Sawmill/planer experience an asset.
  • Good technical, problem solving and trouble‑shooting skills.
  • Mechanical / electrical aptitude.
