Job summary

Interfor is seeking a Red Seal Certified Millwright for Elk Lake, Ontario, weekends‑only. The role offers a rate of $44.16 per hour with overtime potential based on business needs and shift schedules.

At Interfor, you will work in a sawmill environment where safety, reliability and teamwork are central to daily operations. You’ll perform preventive and breakdown maintenance on sawmill equipment, fabricate and install machinery using blueprints, and contribute to a reliable production process.

Responsibilities

• Operate in a safe and efficient manner following all safety rules and regulations.
• Perform preventive maintenance, repair and breakdown maintenance of sawmill, planer and kiln hot oil system equipment.
• Fabricate, construct and install equipment and machinery using blueprints and diagrams.
• Diagnose problems and work with the team to improve machine reliability and prevent breakdowns.
• Be available to work day, afternoon, graveyard or weekend shifts as required.

Interfor is seeking reliable andcollaborative team players to join our Elk Lake, Ontario Division as a Red SealCertified Millwright, weekends only.

The rate for this position is $44.16 per hour. Employees in this role have thetheopportunity to earn overtime pay depending on business needs and shiftschedules. Historically, trades employees at this location earned overtime payfor approximately 600 hours per year on average.

Maintenance Weekend Only Schedule:
Friday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday& Sunday 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. (all hours on Sunday paid at OT)

What You’ll Do
