Job Summary

Under the direction of the Senior Sales Manager or VP of Cement Sales, the Cement Sales Manager primarily interfaces with customers and potential customers, handling issues related to the sales and potential sales of CEMEX products.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Learn about various customer segments and understand the construction sector as it relates to economic metrics.
  2. Grow existing customer base and develop opportunities within current accounts to capture new business.
  3. Build rapport and communicate effectively with all levels of customer organizations and management.
  4. Provide technical support to customers regarding their purchases.
  5. Communicate price information and develop market price strategies in collaboration with the Vice President of Cement Sales.
  6. Collaborate with accounting and logistics to resolve customer issues.
  7. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  1. 5-10 years of experience in the building materials industry preferred.
  2. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  1. Strong time management and organizational skills.
  2. Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Working Conditions

Long periods of standing, walking, driving, and exposure to dust, noise, and extreme temperatures.

Physical Requirements
  1. Walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and fingering.
  2. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently.
  3. Communicating verbally and non-verbally.
