Qualifications

  • Requires completion of a two-year post-secondary diploma in a relevant discipline.
  • Life Skills certification would be considered an asset.
  • One year recent experience with individuals experiencing mental health concerns and goal planning.

Responsibilities

  • Admission to Safe Beds: liaise with police, orient clients, monitor safety.
  • Goal Plan Development: collaborate with client to develop plan for mental health and housing.
  • Activities of Daily Living: assist with life skills like budgeting, cooking, cleaning, hygiene.
  • Community Development: maintain community resources and reduce barriers to integration.
  • Program Evaluation: identify gaps and improve service delivery.
  • Develops Educational Programs: organize life skills training groups and resources.
  • Ensure program objectives are met and report outcomes.
  • Maintain documentation and reporting for clients.
