Job summary

Bison Transport Inc, a leading 3PL provider, is seeking a Carrier Sales Representative to source and secure reliable carriers, negotiate rates, and maintain robust carrier relationships. The role focuses on timely delivery, cost efficiency, and strong collaboration with operations and sales teams.

The ideal candidate brings 1-3 years in carrier sales or logistics, a Commerce/Management/Business Administration background, and proficiency with TMS and load boards.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years proven experience in carrier sales, freight brokerage, or logistics operations.
• Recent graduate of a Commerce, Management, or Business Administration degree.

Responsibilities

• Source and identify reliable carriers to expand network and meet client requirements.
• Negotiate freight rates and contract terms with carriers.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of carrier contracts, rates, and service agreements.
• Provide exceptional customer service by promptly responding to inquiries and keeping clients informed on shipment status.
