Nurse Next Door Home Care Services in Oakville, ON seeks caregivers to provide in-home care with compassion. Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, meal prep, light housekeeping and companionship, following each client’s care plan and ensuring safety.

Must have at least 1 year of caregiving and be fluent in English. Flexible scheduling and growth opportunities are offered, with mileage reimbursement and a Health Spending Account after probation.

Responsibilities And Duties

• Provide meal preparation, light housekeeping, and/or provide companionship, personal care and support with ADL’s
• Execute on the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer
• Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly
• Function within the limits of your own experience and knowledge, while practicing safely and competently within the job description
• Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly
• Service the Oakville and Burlington Area
• Looking for a variety availability (days, evenings and overnights) however must be available at least 15 hours per week and 2 weekend days per month.

Requirements

• 1 year previous caregiving experience
• Must be fluent in English (written and verbal)
• Current TB Screen and Criminal Record Check
• At least 2 Covid-19 vaccines (proof required)
• Must be able to legally work in Ontario Canada
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle is required
