Nurse Next Door Home Care Services is seeking compassionate caregivers to support private clients in North Bay and surrounding areas. You will provide meal prep, light housekeeping, companionship, and personal care according to each client’s plan, while maintaining safety and accurate records.

Applicants should have at least 1 year of caregiving experience, be fluent in English, hold a PSW certificate from an Ontario college, and possess a valid driver’s license.

Formación

• Minimum 1 year caregiving experience.
• Must communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.

Responsabilidades

• Provide meal preparation, light housekeeping, companionship and personal care.
• Follow the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer.
• Ensure safety and operate equipment properly.
• Complete records and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Serve North Bay and surrounding area; accommodate varied visit times.

Responsibilities And Duties

• Provide meal preparation, light housekeeping, and/or provide companionship and personal care
• Execute on the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer
• Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly
• Function within the limits of your own experience and knowledge, while practicing safely and competently within the job description
• Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly
• Service the North Bay and Surrounding area
• Looking for all visit times (700-1500, 1500-2300, 2300-700) weekdays and weekends

Requirements

• 1 year previous caregiving experience
• Must be able to community verbally and in writing in English, other languages are an asset
• Proof of PSW Certification from an Accredited Ontario College
• Current TB Screen and Criminal Record Check
• Must be able to legally work in Canada to apply for this position
• Valid driver's license is required
