Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing and current RN registration.
• Minimum 5 years nursing experience with at least 2 years in a leadership role in long-term care.
• Working knowledge of long-term care regulations, standards, and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the resident care team and foster a positive work environment.
• Ensure staff receive education for effective performance and professional development.
• Oversee financial management of the nursing department and budget variance analysis.
• Monitor regulatory compliance, accreditation standards and labor standards.
• Identify and manage resident issues and mitigate clinical risks.
• Respond to feedback from residents, families, and staff with empathy and action.
