Job summary

Extendicare is seeking a Director of Care to lead a high-performing nursing team at our Sudbury long-term care home. You will drive resident-centered care, supervise staffing, and ensure regulatory compliance while fostering employee engagement and continuous quality improvement.

The role requires an RN with a Bachelor's in Nursing, a minimum of five years in nursing plus leadership experience, and proficiency with electronic health records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing and active RN registration.
• Master's degree preferred for advanced leadership.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Experience with quality improvement initiatives and EHR systems.

Responsibilities
