Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ relevant management experience.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Long Term Care.
• Current certificate of competence with the provincial College of Nursing as a Registered Nurse.
• Post secondary education in nursing, nursing administration and gerontology.
• Diploma or certificate in organizational management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule resident care activities in compliance with applicable legislation.
• Maintain an atmosphere conducive to achieving the optimal health and welfare of residents and staff.
• Respond to resident or family concerns within decision-making authority.
• Report complaints and concerns to the MLTC director.
• Coordinate the Annual Care Conference Program.
