Job summary

Lifemark Health Group - pt Health Sarnia Physiotherapy is seeking a Care Coordinator in Sarnia, ON. This casual part-time role manages front-desk duties, patient intake, scheduling, billing, and communications to support clinicians and patients.

You will liaise with staff and funders, coordinate records, and assist with documentation while traveling between regional locations as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required; post-secondary education in Medical Office Administration is an asset.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; EMR/Case Management experience is an asset.
• Flexible and able to travel between locations within the region.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a professional front-desk experience by managing calls, greeting patients and addressing inquiries.
• Coordinate accurate patient intake and maintain up-to-date records throughout treatment.
• Assist patients with completing documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient records efficiently.
• Collect payments at time of service and submit insurance claims to third-party funders.
• Perform data entry and billing in clinic procedures.
• Manage incoming and outgoing communications, including mail, courier and fax.
• Provide administrative support to the Care Coordinator Manager and Clinic Director.
