Lifemark Seniors Wellness in Sarnia, ON is seeking a Casual Part-Time Physiotherapy Assistant to join our growing team. You will assist the supervising physiotherapist with treatment plans for residents in residential care, perform gait training, balance exercises, ROM and modalities as directed, and deliver group exercise classes.

You will ensure clean, safe treatment areas and record daily treatments in our web-based system.

Qualifications

• PTA/OTA diploma, or degree in Kinesiology or healthcare background.
• Experience in an LTC setting is an asset.
• Valid Vulnerable Sector screening within 6 months.
• Proof of Tuberculin (2-Step Mantoux) clearance.

Responsabilités

• Assist supervising physiotherapist in treatment plans for residents in residential care.
• Perform gait training, balance exercises, transfer training, ROM, strengthening, modalities as directed.
• Deliver group exercise classes for residents.
• Set up equipment and clean up after treatments.
• Maintain safe and tidy treatment areas and communicate changes to the physiotherapist.
• Record daily treatments in the web-based system.
