Job summary

One Heart Care is seeking an Administrative Services Worker – Patient Flow Support to optimize patient movement within our cardiology clinic and ensure timely, efficient care delivery. You will collaborate with Reception, Booking, and Patient Flow teams to enhance the patient experience.

The role requires proficiency in EMR systems (Cerebrum, EPIC), strong communication, organization, and a compassionate, patient-centered approach. Healthcare background, especially cardiology, is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and/or medical office admin training.
• Experience in healthcare settings, cardiology preferred.
• Familiar with EMR systems and patient data handling.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth clinic days for assigned physicians and prevent delays.
• Transport patients between waiting areas and examination rooms.
• Educate patients on test and procedure prep based on training.
• Perform ECGs, blood pressure, vitals; document results in EMR.
• Coordinate ad hoc testing requested by physicians.
• Maintain cleanliness and restock patient examination rooms.
